Diamond Scientific Enshrines Servicemembers for Veterans Day
Diamond Scientific is celebrating Veterans Day this year by making sure the record of service and sacrifice demonstrated by the brave men and women of America's armed forces is set in stone. Literally. The hall of fame gas analyzer company is working with Florida's St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum and donating commemorative bricks to their brand new Military Honor Plaza. The plaza itself held its grand opening Nov. 10, 2023.
The Veterans being honored by Diamond Scientific are:
- Air Force SSgt Stephen Thomas Kollar. Years of Service: 1953 - 1973
- Marine Sgt Michael S Beaverson. Years of Service: 1966 - 1972
- Navy Reserve Cmdr Fred A. Bailey. Years of Service: 1967 - 1994
- Army COL David J Clark. Years of Service: 1980 - 2009
- Coast Guard CWO4 Dan McIntyre. Years of Service:1960 - 2005
"Selfless patriots forged the foundation of this county and this is the least we can do to ensure our modern day American patriots are remembered," said Diamond CEO Ramon Rivera.
The bricks will be part of the Jan. 2024 order and tentatively scheduled for placement in Feb. Each of the families will receive certificates to commemorate the enshrinement.
